Flippity flop,
You've got me in a knot;

And I hope it never stops!

Miss Bong didn't come to school today, so I had the first 3 hours of school free! Thank you God! I used the free time to finish up my work.

During lit Deborah from A2 brought a guitar from her class and started playing Jason Mraz's The Remedy, and as a result that song kept bouncing around my head throughout the entire day. Unfortunately to ensure that we didn't waste away out 1 1/2 hours of lit Miss Bong had assigned us essays to write; which Weilin wrote on the whiteboard much to everyone's consternation. I managed to write quite alot for Hughes' Pike, so hopefully I'll be able to do much better than I did for the Anthem/Soldier test.

It got really hot after recess and I had a terrible headache but during Guides it started to rain and the temperature was at a comfortable degree after that (:

Oh and I also got 72% for the Geog test (: That's the highest I've ever gotten so far from Geog which is really great since the last time I did that well I was in Sec 2 and getting close to full marks for the Geog tests. Hooray for human geography!

The last post for today, hahaha.

Steph's Geek Test

I got 11.2426% - Geek.

Hahaha. All your base are belong to us.
LOL. So much for being safe, I found my current blog with a 3 word combo on google because of the profile thing I did for the prefectorial interviews last year which I copied onto my blog. On the upside it can't really be found unless you me sort of well.
Shit this is so amusing. I'm turning into a cyber stalker or something, I googled someone's name and up came his blog and well, literally everything, complete with links to pictures.

THAT is the reason why I never use my full name on this blog; type in my full name and you get my old blog at blurty :p

I also tried with other combos like my class, shorten name, etc and google threw out the names out the other 'mel' classmates. Hehehe.
Hello, I had a very weird day today. Too bad this is a public blog :p

Anyway I went for the Humanities Talk on Consumerism (geography) at Hwa Chong Instituite and I sat next to Hang (from A3). There was this guy at the talk who looked kind of cute (*blushes*) and he was seated facing me so I kept looking at him and vice versa. The only problem being that I couldn't decide if he wanted to snog my brains out or scold me, because Hang kept talking to me during the talk. Or maybe he was looking at the girls seated behind me, anyway I'll probably never see him again in my life.

Halfway during the talk someone's phone started ringing from the NYGH/Teacher's section, it was so amusing. All of us thought it belonged to some unlucky NYGH girl but it turned out it belonged to a teacher from Hwa Chong/Chinese High. Hahaha, it was quite amusing.

The talk was quite good, but I've heard many of the points the speaker presented before. Hang was really bored and wrote rubbish for the Feedback Forms but decided not to hand them up, she also pointed out the stuff that the speaker said wrongly (which is why she started defacing the Feedback Forms in the first place).

Now if only MGS is invited to one of their talks on History...

After the talk, Sheril, Meryl and I were trying to find away out of the school (and man is it big!) , in the end we just followed a crowd of boys/the slope down to the extremely crowded bus stop >.<

At the bus stop there was this freaky boy. He was really thin, had a strange face, slouched back, tiny shorts and a really high schoolbag. He kept on looking at me at the bus stop. I have no idea what he was thinking and I got annoyed at him. The bus comes from theotherway weirdo. 156 took a heck of a long time to come and all the MGS had left except for me and Alecia (same bus) and the freaky boy didn't board any buses that came. With a sinking feeling I realised he was taking the same bus as me!

And true enough he boarded 156, but thank goodness he got off a few bus stops before my own stop. I feel sick at the thought of letting him have the slightest inkling of where I live. Tsk. He was really so odd!

Happy Birthday to Me I guess.

Thanks to all the people who gave me gifts and remained my friends (: You guy don't know how great you really are (:

Anyway back to the point of friends. Today I got an e-mail from Friendster telling me that someone had requested to be my friend. When I went to see that girl's profile (her name was Esther, I thought it was the one from my class) I realised I had NO IDEA who she was at all. Only that she was from MGS. She wasn't even from Sec 4.

What IS the point of friendster anyway (and MySpace)? I remember I refused to get an account till my PW group made on for me when we were doing a project one day back in '04. Friends are people you know who'll be there for you, not some random person looking to 'boost' her popularity.

Needless to say I rejected the 'friends' thing. I'm quite fed up with fair weather friends (and non-existant friends) and the whole idea is so dumb. If you want to make more friends get your ass off the com and do something, not add random people on your Friendster/MySpace/TagWorld. 'Friends' like that I can gladly do without.

Meanwhile I have Chinese homework to do >.<

* (see below - because Blogger kept messing up the words, no idea why)

Our first game was against B2. There was this B2 girl who kept falling down eveytime I bumped into her. And I've been hit worse by other girls and I never fell down! The B2 girl fell down twice and had a few scrapes on her knee, just like our very own poor Ange ;) Near the end Tian Ying (the goalie) decided she wanted to run around so I replaced her and B2 scored >.<

B2 won us by 3 goals.
MGS Asian Games 2006!

Man. B3 got completed flattened. It's not 'ohh we lost a few games' but 'holy shit we got run over by a steamroller' flattened. Anyway most of us had fun, that's all that counts.

I played the first game of floorball vs B2. I don't know why but I got so tired about 5 mins into the game, usually I can play for up to 15 mins (or more, not sure) in my usual position (defending) in a HALF COURT (should be more stressful right?) and I really felt ill :S I think the black class t-shirt (which was thick too) didn't help very much.

* (see above entry)

I was resting after the game when Shabana called me to become a game offical (ie: referee) for Badminton. I told her (and Mrs. Elaine Chan who I reported to) that I didn't know the rules at all, the little I knew was from watching Susilo play last year on TV but they both said it was alright.

When I went to the reporting area, a set was already in session and the girl there (name omitted on account of blur-ness) was also clueless about the scoring system. Even now I'm not sure if Qatar (B1) should have won that set against Malaysia (A1). After that set Elizabeth from Japan (B4) came along and replaced the other girl and Liz knew the rules and I managed to remember the rules I learned from TV. All I can say is, man o man, those scholars PWN when it comes to Badminton.

I had forgotten that we had to play against A2 and I went mad for a while as I tried to find the class 7 mins before the match (the joy of being a sports admin) and the match went alright. I didn't play initially and ran in to sub for Eleanor who had to go play bench ball. Even playing for those 7 mins made me feel so drained. Sigh.

A2 won, which was kind of expected. But they were nice opponents (: (unlike B2 who scored when the girl fell down and I abandoned the game with a few others to go check up on her)

In the finals it was B2 VS A2, you can probably guess who I was supporting. B2 won.

But I must say, I was impressed when I heard that B2's flag (Afghanistan) was hand made, not bought, plus the white design looked pretty clear to me.

Anyway today was also the day of the parent teacher meeting. My mum came back with alot of things to say.
a) Mrs Raymond Ong is very interesting (Everyone loves Raymond Ong!)
b) Mrs Ong was very slow (what's new?)
c) My mum had a joint meeting (for Raymond Ong) with Steph's dad and ^&*($'s dad - he left halfway, LOL
d) My mum went to the WRONG Mrs Lim for geog. She had been directed to Mrs YY Lim, but YY Lim wasn't there. Thank goodness. She thought NAT Lim didn't teach me anymore.
e) My mum thinks LAO SHI is super amusing, they were laughing over those LAO HU crap I used to write
f) ELEE (bio) said I was lazy, the only negative comment. Hahaha.
g) I failed my vectors test by 2 marks, Miss Ho (HOHOHO! Merry Christmas) showed my test to my mother. She also said I should pass Math if I keep hacking away at it (:
h) My mum ended up talking to Miss Bong about stuff other than my academics
i) My mum finally knows that History and SS is more than writing down random facts (: (RONG and the mahaRAJah showed her the LORMS nonsense)

Tomorrow's my birthday but I can't say I feel very excited. Oh well. Last day of being 15 and I shall spend it reading the yellow chinese book. Have a nice weekend (:

Hohoho I am addicted to lame ass Gundam Seed Songs. Thanks to FOE for sending them to me ;)
Life is when you have a math test the next day --- and 3 MATH worksheets from an unrelated topic to hand up the next day as well.

Oh and for those of you who are interested, I gave the fabric and the design to a tailor on Friday. The tailor's in Malaysia and he charged only RM80, but he takes a month to sew dresses.

The design (which I slightly altered) is from Nicole Miller's collection.

Thanks Neiman Marcus and Ange for giving me the website ;)
Hello, even though I'm not in the best of spirits today I shall still blog about the weird wedding dinner I attended last night.

My chinese homework is barely done, sigh, I just kept procrastinating till well, today, the last day of the hols. On the upside (if there is one) this year I was non-subject selective, ie: I still have other undone homework that's not chinese. I hope the chinese blue book test isn't tomorrow, else I'm a little more than dead.

Anyway last night my parents and I attended a wedding of one of my cousins. Even now, I still don't know her name. All I know is that she's short. Very short. 1.4-5m short. And her husband is short too, maybe they'll have short kids. Anyway if you're not familiar with my family, this means she's on my mom's side since i barely know a thing about her.

The dinner was at the Neptune @ Shenton Way (your parents probably know about it) and I was wearing my contacts, so my eyesight was a little off as usual. When we entered the ballroom (and it was pretty huge, bigger than the Island Ballroom @ Shangri-la and it had 2 levels) there was a stage and to my shock there were a bunch of girls prancing around on stage.

The girls then proceeded to strip down to their bikinis (though not further than that, wasn't clear when I sent out those 5 smses) and dance around seductively. Among the girls there was also this man and he was balding. HAHAHA. They were all caucasions, which made it even more shocking. My dad said they were all from Russia.

Some of the dances were really quite retarded, especially the one the guy did alone in some weird purple chest baring monstrosity with purple feather wings adhered to the back of his coat. It was super weird and with my bad eyesight, it was like I was hallucinating.

The show was kind of nice and entertaining and I watched it with a 'Oh my goodness this is so unreal' expression. The show itself however begrets the question:

What the hell was my cousin and her husband thinking when they got a weird carabet show as a prelude to their wedding dinner?

Anyway after the show ended some weird emcee came on. The only problem is i'm not sure was it a he, or a she. No kidding.

It has a low voice and wore baggy clothing and short, spikey hair. But It also had boobs. I say it's a guy, only my mum agrees with me. My dad, uncle and aunt all say it's a female. Anyway IT couldn't speak proper mandarin or english and started talking in hokkien, which I didn't understand. Joy.

One of my uncles was also very high, my dad said it was because of the red wine he was drinking.

One thing I found damn annoying was how all my relatives (the adults since I chose to sit with them and not at the 'youngsters' table) watched me eat. No shit. They'd watch me eat, like I was some fascinating creature, I guess it's because they didn't expect me to put so much away, thought I'd meekly nibble at a gram of chicken or something, not eat 3 fat slices of breast meat (they didn't want it anyway, no one likes the breast meat except Steph, one of my aunt's on my dad's side and me).

Dinner started at 9PM and we reached home at 11PM. I was so exhausted I decided not to use the com and ended up going to sleep at 12-ish. Sigh, better go do some geog/chinese now.

Wow, the Kings Of Convenience concert was so great :D Erlend kept dancing and making weird comments, he also started a security panic when he invited EVERYONE onto the stage to dance during I'd Rather Dance with You, hahaha. The ushers went a little loco.

Yesterday I went to an old folk's home with my classmates. It was really quite an expierence there, but I'm to tired to document everything. Anyway the men (man) was more responsive than the women and the women well, scared me a little.

However the saddest part was when I saw this mentally retarded (literally) girl/woman in one of the beds. She didn't look that old but she was trashing about making this 'mew'ing noise. I felt so sad just watching her, I bet she didn't even know I existed, her retardation looked quite severe. She reminded me of what could happen to Ryan. I hope I never have to dump him in some home.

I had a really long entry planned, but then it got canned. Lol.

Anyway I went to Malaysia yesterday and Johor Bahru was really crowded. They're having their school break there too and City Plaza was quite crowded, which I really hated since I hate crowded places. Anyhow I got my contacts (: But they're seriously alot of hassle and this morning it took me more than 30 mins to stuff the man-made lens into my eye cavity and ontop of my real, but disfunctioning, lens. The funny part is that it is always easier to put the lens into my left eye than into my right eye.

I was rubbing my eye around 5 this afternoon when my right eye contact came out, after attempting to put it back for 5 mins, I got frustrated and went to take out my left eye contact instead, which came out after 3 mins prodding >.<

In J.B. I also bought the fabric for my FDD (founder's day dinner) gown (:

It was just the right shade of green that I wanted and my mum helped me spot it, all for RM10.50 a metre (it was on sale). My dad said it was a loud colour. Anyway I like it.

Your mind will take you far
The rest is just pure heart
You’ll find your fate is all your own creation

LOL. This clip is so bloody rude, offensive and rip roaringly funny. It's a little like the Tom Green show.

Warning: a 5 second shot of some woman's breasts. Or rather a transvetite's breast.

Like the caption says: "I am just wondering why this guy does not get his ass beat severely on a regular basis."

Please don't watch it if you get offended easily, last thing I need is a bunch of people complaining.

I always find this supremely funny (:

Had outdoor cooking today for guides and it was pretty fun. My patrol managed to cook up all the food though I did end up handing a canister of a few Sour Cream flavoured Pringles to an random (and guileless) guide before running away. I think she was one of my junior's friends (:

I also got back my progress report and teacher's comments today, it was pretty alright except for the fact that I got an E8 for SS/Hist. Ugh. Chinese was F9, but I'm working on it (:

I got an A1 for Lit :D:D:D:D:D

Had a real nasty morning today and I felt so ill, maybe someone is busying hexing me or poking needles into a mini mel (:

Anyway I still came to school, albeit 'dead'. Takes more than a piddling sickness to keep me down nowadays.

The mashed potato from the Drinks Stall is really nice and yummy (: It's a sad day when stuff churned out of a machine tastes better than human-made variety. I feel hungry thinking about the potatoes. Yum.

Oh. My. Goodness.

OH. MY. GOODNESS!

That figure absolutely boggles the mind, and it's not just boggle boggle, but complete shell shock boggle.

Holy bovine!

Hello. I've had a marvellously deranged week; if it's not 10,000 school probems it's 10,000 personal problems, i'm not sure which is worse or more insanely amusing.

Because this is a public blog, I can't say everything I want to, unfortunately.

Anyhow Ianthe and I walked home today from school, we stopped at the small casurina grove behind school and picked up lots of punk, and we got ALOT of stares from passing motorists which included this MacDonald's delivery guy and we talked about alot of inane stuff (:

Then we crossed the open field and we (or rather I) started to recite lame poems and sing lame songs :D I felt so free and happy for that moment and we went around, mucking through long grass, 'desolate' deserts, treacherous swamps and well, one longkang.

I got to play with Ianthie's dog (so cute!) and my dad picked me up from her house around 4:00PM (:

Fucking assholes running around ruining the world for everybody.
