To my utmost horror today, I realised I made a major mistake when I was photocopying the stuff for the Court of Appeal. It turned out that EVERYTHING had to be resized with a margin and 'A B C' denoting lines, not just the notes of evidence. UGHHH. I was in such a bad mood thing morning.

Anyway for lunch, Mr Tan brought us (the interns) and another partner, Mr Bala, out. It was supposed to pacify me or something for yesterday's events. Bla. The place he brought us to was some fine dining place at Robertson Quay which belonged to a client of his. I won't mention the name here because I am going to sort of insult the food, and the main reason the guy was even of client in the first place was because he wanted to sue this blogger who had slandered the restaurant. Fun fun fun.

I really felt uncomfortable there and I wanted to die when I saw the prices for the food. As it is I feel bad when people treat me to things (except members of my intermediate family), but this place was like OMG WTF??? expensive. I glanced at the prices for a moment before deciding to not look at it again in case I lost my appetite. In the end I asked Mr Tan to order for me. He ordered a Lobster Bisque and a Tenderloin steak for me. Another reason I felt so uncomfortable there was that I had never been to such a place like that before. While the rest looked so comfortable, I felt edgy and totally pretentious. At least now I know that I don't belong in such places = more savings on food.

When all the soups came I burst out laughing, because the French Onion soups looked like they had exploded in the microwave oven or something, completely splattering the 'bowls'. As for the 'bowls' they looked more like urns. You know, those kind people keep ashes of their dead beloveds. Fascinating. My soup was also really salty, but I'm not sure if that's the case exactly because the food in my house has been bland to accommodate my grandmother and father's dietary needs, so a slight increase in the salt content could seem like a lot to me.

They didn't even have normal water there. Nooo, it had to be Perrier. It felt weird drinking it when one's tastebuds are expecting water. Like you know, H2O minus the Citric Acid and the Carbon Dioxide. The steak was really good, but the fries looked over done. In the end I was so full after eating the steak I couldn't even touch the fries. Ben ate a few of my fries instead.

Back at the office, I continued photocopying till my calve muscles and back ached. Alia helped me quite a bit too with the photocopying (: Mr Tan asked me to stay behind and he'd drop me off at home later, but I was really so tired I wanted to curl up in a ball on the floor and go to sleep. However after I got home and took a shower, I felt much better, but I'm still tired nonetheless.

If the rumours are right, my O level results will be coming out in one week.
