Nonono! Before I start a debate on the world ending in 2006, it's what the bible code says.

The bible code is an ongoing research in which the researchers use the old hebrew text (that is: not english) and read what it all transalates to in english either backwards, frontwards, diagonally, in patterns (skipping 3 words at a time, etc.). On the bible code's part it has accurately predicted an assassination attempt, Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, the tsunami (I can't remember exactly about this though) and many other occurences, however the bible code has also thrown up a bunch of FALSE prophecys alongside the true ones.

Whether the world IS going to end in 2006 is only known to God and if we want to get all logical...

Only God knows when the date is --> Bible Codes predicts 2006 --> Therefore we know --> Therefore it's not ONLY God anymore --> God changes date?

What I'm trying to say is basically the odds of the world ending in 2006 is well, very slim and totally out of the idea from a philosopher's perspective because of the logical fallacies surrounding the said '2006' date.

In short: Just study hard and hang in there, don't worry about the world coming to an end unless you're an evil person/stole money from a blind person/kicked a dog/set fire to your neighbour's trash/etc.

It was just a passing comment!

Anyway if you want to know more, the link to the bible code's website can be found in the beginning of the entry and here.
