I've lost my voice. I woke up this morning and found it really hard to swallow, then when I opened my mouth to speak, a weak little voice came though. While it's nowhere near Cielo's broken voice, it still sounds weird.

This has also made me very cranky and when I think about all the homework I have to do I feel like fainting. Sigh -_____________-

I am sick.

I was okay till after PE yesterday, then afterwards I had to enter the air conditioned classroom, which is probably what made me sick. During Bio prac my throat got a little prickly, forward to today and I feel my body is disjointed from my mind. My thighs also ache after yesterday's sit and reach (amidst a lot of incoherent screaming and yelling for the guys around me) which adds to my already high level of irritability.

Like I can type, I can move, I can speak, but I'm not really there and my mind is trapped.

And all I have is a dry irritable throat.

And lots of Bio homework to do.

I think the matter has been pretty much settled, I got Chun Wui (since he knew him) to tell the candidate to remove the offending posters, whether actions will be taken is yet to be seen as I still saw the posters in the SAC during break today.

As to mysterious X: yes am I extremely hotheaded, but that's who I am, all the same I am extremely reasonable if the other party is willing to be the same and do the right thing.

Meanwhile I feel buried under a whole pile of work.

I feel quite pissed at the campaign because the domokun idea I used for Steph's student council campaign has been copied by some asshole for someone else's campaign.

Granted everyone tells me that it was some other guy who did the posters, but his name is on it and he should accept responsibility!

I will negative vote the hell out of him. JOIN ME!

I see trouble coming from a mile away, and it doesn't bode well with my soul.

Actually quite a lot of stuff has been happening in my life lately, with a new school, new environment and my already 'happening' enough life adding to the entire fray, I shall try to summarise everything:

- This asshole, who also caused me quite a bit of conflict for the past few months, called me 'childish' yesterday when I confronted him over something he did to my cousin. I tried to talk to him like an adult and he practically laughed his was through, insinuated it was none of my business and blamed a conflict of different cultures. I am NOT the least bit pleased. I felt like telling him to fuck off (though I think that a fuck is exactly what he wants), but must be restrained for the sake of my dignity and my future (planned) career. Asshole. I can't believe I have to tolerate this shit for goodness knows how long because of my inflexible schedule.

- I talked to my history teacher yesterday and he liked my EE (planned) topic. Even through everyone is class doesn't like him that much, I think he may be the best mentor for my topic, not to mention I'll be his only student! Hohoho. I was really happy yesterday that I could do my EE on the topic I wanted, it was the high point of my day! Well that and watching Cielo go mad in class

- I got my uniform! I wore it to school on Thursday and I managed to draw on it by accident, so around the bust area there are faint pen marks. That's an all new record for me on dirtying my uniform.

- Yesterday during break, the class celebrated my birthday with Justin's. I admit I was really surprised anyone remembered from the one time I wrote it down (I thought it was too recent) and it was really the only time that my class (even in MGS) celebrated my birthday. I was really touched (:

- Today I went for lunch with about 1/2 the class to celebrate Justin's birthday. It was quite odd in the sense that they wanted to surprise me too, but the plan failed when someone who wasn't in on the 'surprise' (Cielo's grand idea) walked past and I stopped him. LOL. Weirdest thing ever. Then they tried to surprise Justin, but he didn't look that surprised, hahaha.

- I've been feeling quite ill recently, my stomach is in really bad shape and I have no idea what is happening to my body. It's quite terrifying and my metabolic rate is literally shooting through the roof, but on the other hand I can't eat a lot or else I'll feel very ill and throw up (which I have 2 times in the morning before school). Unfortunately I have to deal with this and go to school at the same time because I really cannot afford to miss school at this point of time, pray for me?

- My Bio teacher reminds me of Miss GK Goh. She terrifies the living shit out of me and her questions are oddly phrased (t0 me), such that I don't understand what the hell she's asking. Meanwhile like history, there is alot of Bio work to catch up on. I have really tried to read through all of topic 1, but I'm not sure how much has assimilated into my brain. It seems like my SL subjects give me a lot more trouble than my HL subjects.

There's are loads more, but I really need to go do bio.

It's kind of amusing doing math studies because the 'new' content is Sec 3 Additional Mathematics, which I didn't do anyway, but am now doing at the Year 6 level with full knowledge of how my peers have long completed that chapter but I have to struggle to understand the abstract concepts.

It seems like the lack of sleep I've been experiencing lately results in really really weird far out dreams with regards to things I've been missing out for a long time, maybe a compensation of sorts.

Still it makes for extremely odd dreams.

Single most perplexing conversation I have had;

I was on my way to Math studies, at room B3-09 and was stopping at every few classes on the 3rd level to read the room numbers. Then this guy came by.

Guy: Hey, what class do you have now?
Me (I couldn't recognise him, except he might be the one of the many people I have failed to recognise since coming to school): Oh Math Studies.
Guy: You take math studies?
Me: Yeah
Guy: What class is it in?
Me: Somewhere around this side, B3-09
Guy: Oh

Then he turned to walk away. I stopped for a moment then called after him.

Me: Hey are you in my class?
Guy: No, I was just admiring you

Then he walked off. I turned to walk off too before what he said sank in. WHAAAAATTTT?!?

If I ever get the chance to become a relief teacher for Social Studies one day down the road, I will SO play this song for the students!


Zombie by The Cranberries

I finally remembered to upload the pics I took on the last day of work! It seems incredible that it was only last week that I was working, running around the office pretending to be a vampire/batman in my uncle's high court robes and sneezing to death because of the tonnes of dust that lay hidden in the library.


My desk! Usually it's way messier that this, especially when I was doing the documents for the high court case *make a face*, then, you could only see half the monitor. See the butterfly like things to the right? I made them on my first day there :D (remember the stupid session I had to do for guides? That's the only thing I remember how to fold.)

Domo domo! I also drew this on my first day there. I wonder if it's still stuck on, because the glue behind was quite weak.

Horrors! Legal humour. The caption reads:'"Now M'lud, suppose I saw you going into a public-house----" "You mean coming in."' Actually of all the lawyer jokes (not those all-lawyers-go-to-hell-sort), this was my favourite!

And finishing off my post, is a picture of the oldest legal record book the other intern and I found. Most of them are left untouched since 90% of old cases can be found online in a special website, but they're still left behind, gathering dust and being prodded by curious interns.

In Today's Urban section of the newspaper:

Okay I currently have like the world's fattest Econs book (or somewhere near that region) sitting to the left of me, which I originally planned to started reading, but a certain Miss Low made me update early.

Today I went with her to buy shoes at Queensway Shopping Centre! In the end I brought her to the same shop where I got my shoes and she got hers at a slightly cheaper price (by about $2) because we told the guy that I had been there to buy the same pair on Sunday. As we left he said, "Tell your friends!" Hahaha.

We were at The Cathay to see if The History Boys was showing, which it was... at 7:something pm! As we turned to walk back towards the MRT station, Stephanie said she wanted to eat ice cream, so instead we headed to the interior of The Cathay for some Ben & Jerry ice cream! Hooray!

As usual Stephanie had trouble deciding which flavour she wanted to eat. The guy behind the counter gave her a small portion of Phish Food to try and asked what she wanted to try, or what kind of base she liked (chocolate, vanilla, etc), then I piped in and said, "She wants to try all the flavours!". LOL. Then the guy said "Okay, the store's pretty empty now, I don't mind".

He gave her a little bit of the Strawberry Cheesecake to try and talked to her about various flavours, and I got a vibe that he thought she was cute (hey I am good at detecting this stuff, just not when it concerns me). In the meantime my order got screwed up and he scooped two scoops of ice cream for me instead because he was too distracted or something -______-

In the end Stephanie had what I was having, Dublin Mudslide, except I had one scoop too many to deal with. Because I had been unexpectedly saddled with another scoop of ice cream, I wanted to sit down and eat it instead of walking and eating it, so we sat down outside the store. Then the guy behind the counter went to the band area and started to play his guitar and sing! He was really good O.O and sounded exactly like Jack Johnson. Stephanie said that she thought it was the original song playing till I told her the guy was playing and singing it. *edit*, according to Stephanie it was Jack Johnson's Better Together, followed by Jason Mraz's Wordplay then John Meyer's Daughters the last one being Jack Johnson's Banana Pancakes. Hahaha!

While he was playing, I asked Stephanie if he was within her line of sight, and she said yes, so I laughed and she gave me this odd look. Then about a few minutes later she went "I looked at him and he was looking at me!" I told her he was serenading her :p

When we left, I looked at him and he was playing/singing with his eyes closed. I told Stephanie that he would suddenly open his eyes, realise we were gone and then the music would abruptly stop. True enough as we were halfway down the escalators, the music suddenly stopped, probably when Ice Cream Dude opened his eyes. HAHAHA!

So amusing! As an afterthought, maybe he purposely messed up my order so we would stick around or something and he could observe her more, ala 'her step, laugh, voice's ring'.

Afterwards we ended up at Cathay Cineleisure to watch The History Boys, which I found quite good, though the theme of homosexuality kind of escaped me as to it's purpose in the overall story. I wanted to watch Paris J'taime, but it was showing only at 7:something pm at Cineleisure :/

Anyway this is now my favourite quote! It's so true, hahaha.

I learnt how to cycle today! WOOOO. Yes I never knew how to cycle before.

Anyway today in the afternoon I went down to Sentosa with my family and my dad rented a bike for me and taught me to cycle!

Initially I kept swerving to the left and toppling over, but later on I:-
1) Kept cycling into the vegetation, on both sides of the path;
2) Cycled into the vegetation, right in the middle of the bushes and fell over;
3) Crashed into the lamp post twice and flew off the bike;
4) Rammed right into a cement planter because I was trying to avoid the lamp post. This then resulting in me flopping onto the planter and then tumbling into the small gap between the planter box and the lamp post;
5) Almost ran over a small kid. DAMNIT, watch your kids you stupid people. I stopped like 20cm away from the young boy, about 2 years old.

I was quite a sight. Everytime I fell I screamed before I and laughed my head off after landing on the ground. Meanwhile lots of people on the trams passing by were watching me bemusedly and some looked like they wanted to jump out and help me especially after the disastrous attempt to avoid the lamp post. I swear some people laughed when I ran right into the lamp posts.

John Le Carre's The Naive and Sentimental Lover is the biggest steaming pile of horse shit I've read in a long time. In fact this may be the first book that I actually threw into the trash.

Today I went down to Alexandra Distripark to buy my school books after Cielo sent me the booklist. The total price amounted to more than $400 and they weigh a ton. The Biology book is seriously so thick it looks like it could kill someone. The guy there also told me he'd have to order my history and 'stupid' maths books for me.

I really need to start studying! Alot to catch up. Blah.

For the sadistic ones who enjoy seeing stupid people/despo guys being made fun off, the Anna blog will be updated soon!

I just logged in and saw 2 new ones. Hurrrr.

Shit I am behind in work and I have no idea what books to buy, where, work I need to catch up on and so on. I am getting really miffed.

My only consolation is that I've got a topic for my EE already.

I got posted to 5.9, Chronicles.

It doesn't seem like a bad class, and the people there are quite friendly. Thank goodness!
