I've lost my voice. I woke up this morning and found it really hard to swallow, then when I opened my mouth to speak, a weak little voice came though. While it's nowhere near Cielo's broken voice, it still sounds weird.

This has also made me very cranky and when I think about all the homework I have to do I feel like fainting. Sigh -_____________-
I am sick.

I was okay till after PE yesterday, then afterwards I had to enter the air conditioned classroom, which is probably what made me sick. During Bio prac my throat got a little prickly, forward to today and I feel my body is disjointed from my mind. My thighs also ache after yesterday's sit and reach (amidst a lot of incoherent screaming and yelling for the guys around me) which adds to my already high level of irritability.

Like I can type, I can move, I can speak, but I'm not really there and my mind is trapped.

And all I have is a dry irritable throat.

And lots of Bio homework to do.

I think the matter has been pretty much settled, I got Chun Wui (since he knew him) to tell the candidate to remove the offending posters, whether actions will be taken is yet to be seen as I still saw the posters in the SAC during break today.

As to mysterious X: yes am I extremely hotheaded, but that's who I am, all the same I am extremely reasonable if the other party is willing to be the same and do the right thing.

Meanwhile I feel buried under a whole pile of work.

Ribbit.

I feel very angry now over the copied posters thing:

DOMOKUN EATS ALL COPIERS! NEGATIVE VOTE!
I feel quite pissed at the campaign because the domokun idea I used for Steph's student council campaign has been copied by some asshole for someone else's campaign.

Granted everyone tells me that it was some other guy who did the posters, but his name is on it and he should accept responsibility!

I will negative vote the hell out of him. JOIN ME!

I see trouble coming from a mile away, and it doesn't bode well with my soul.

Saturday, March 24, 2007

Actually quite a lot of stuff has been happening in my life lately, with a new school, new environment and my already 'happening' enough life adding to the entire fray, I shall try to summarise everything:

- This asshole, who also caused me quite a bit of conflict for the past few months, called me 'childish' yesterday when I confronted him over something he did to my cousin. I tried to talk to him like an adult and he practically laughed his was through, insinuated it was none of my business and blamed a conflict of different cultures. I am NOT the least bit pleased. I felt like telling him to fuck off (though I think that a fuck is exactly what he wants), but must be restrained for the sake of my dignity and my future (planned) career. Asshole. I can't believe I have to tolerate this shit for goodness knows how long because of my inflexible schedule.

- I talked to my history teacher yesterday and he liked my EE (planned) topic. Even through everyone is class doesn't like him that much, I think he may be the best mentor for my topic, not to mention I'll be his only student! Hohoho. I was really happy yesterday that I could do my EE on the topic I wanted, it was the high point of my day! Well that and watching Cielo go mad in class

- I got my uniform! I wore it to school on Thursday and I managed to draw on it by accident, so around the bust area there are faint pen marks. That's an all new record for me on dirtying my uniform.

- Yesterday during break, the class celebrated my birthday with Justin's. I admit I was really surprised anyone remembered from the one time I wrote it down (I thought it was too recent) and it was really the only time that my class (even in MGS) celebrated my birthday. I was really touched (:

- Today I went for lunch with about 1/2 the class to celebrate Justin's birthday. It was quite odd in the sense that they wanted to surprise me too, but the plan failed when someone who wasn't in on the 'surprise' (Cielo's grand idea) walked past and I stopped him. LOL. Weirdest thing ever. Then they tried to surprise Justin, but he didn't look that surprised, hahaha.

- I've been feeling quite ill recently, my stomach is in really bad shape and I have no idea what is happening to my body. It's quite terrifying and my metabolic rate is literally shooting through the roof, but on the other hand I can't eat a lot or else I'll feel very ill and throw up (which I have 2 times in the morning before school). Unfortunately I have to deal with this and go to school at the same time because I really cannot afford to miss school at this point of time, pray for me?

- My Bio teacher reminds me of Miss GK Goh. She terrifies the living shit out of me and her questions are oddly phrased (t0 me), such that I don't understand what the hell she's asking. Meanwhile like history, there is alot of Bio work to catch up on. I have really tried to read through all of topic 1, but I'm not sure how much has assimilated into my brain. It seems like my SL subjects give me a lot more trouble than my HL subjects.

There's are loads more, but I really need to go do bio.

It's kind of amusing doing math studies because the 'new' content is Sec 3 Additional Mathematics, which I didn't do anyway, but am now doing at the Year 6 level with full knowledge of how my peers have long completed that chapter but I have to struggle to understand the abstract concepts.

It seems like the lack of sleep I've been experiencing lately results in really really weird far out dreams with regards to things I've been missing out for a long time, maybe a compensation of sorts.

Still it makes for extremely odd dreams.

Single most perplexing conversation I have had;

I was on my way to Math studies, at room B3-09 and was stopping at every few classes on the 3rd level to read the room numbers. Then this guy came by.

Guy: Hey, what class do you have now?
Me (I couldn't recognise him, except he might be the one of the many people I have failed to recognise since coming to school): Oh Math Studies.
Guy: You take math studies?
Me: Yeah
Guy: What class is it in?
Me: Somewhere around this side, B3-09
Guy: Oh

Then he turned to walk away. I stopped for a moment then called after him.

Me: Hey are you in my class?
Guy: No, I was just admiring you

Then he walked off. I turned to walk off too before what he said sank in. WHAAAAATTTT?!?

If I ever get the chance to become a relief teacher for Social Studies one day down the road, I will SO play this song for the students!

Zombie by The Cranberries

I am on a Cranberries roll now :)
I finally remembered to upload the pics I took on the last day of work! It seems incredible that it was only last week that I was working, running around the office pretending to be a vampire/batman in my uncle's high court robes and sneezing to death because of the tonnes of dust that lay hidden in the library.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My desk! Usually it's way messier that this, especially when I was doing the documents for the high court case *make a face*, then, you could only see half the monitor. See the butterfly like things to the right? I made them on my first day there :D (remember the stupid session I had to do for guides? That's the only thing I remember how to fold.)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Domo domo! I also drew this on my first day there. I wonder if it's still stuck on, because the glue behind was quite weak.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Horrors! Legal humour. The caption reads:'"
Now M'lud, suppose I saw you going into a public-house----" "You mean coming in."' Actually of all the lawyer jokes (not those all-lawyers-go-to-hell-sort), this was my favourite!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And finishing off my post, is a picture of the oldest legal record book the other intern and I found. Most of them are left untouched since 90% of old cases can be found online in a special website, but they're still left behind, gathering dust and being prodded by curious interns.

In Today's Urban section of the newspaper:
"One female student from a school dominated by boys told moi her uniform used to cause her undue embarrassment.

The material of the blouse was almost voile-like and far too thin, so the boys could always tell the colour of her bra.

Worse, it was so delicate that it started to tear after a few washes.

The designer remade the blouse in a thicker fabric, but now the collar props up to allow Peeping Toms access from the top."

Guess which school and which uniform it sounds like?

Tuesday, March 13, 2007

Okay I currently have like the world's fattest Econs book (or somewhere near that region) sitting to the left of me, which I originally planned to started reading, but a certain Miss Low made me update early.

Today I went with her to buy shoes at Queensway Shopping Centre! In the end I brought her to the same shop where I got my shoes and she got hers at a slightly cheaper price (by about $2) because we told the guy that I had been there to buy the same pair on Sunday. As we left he said, "Tell your friends!" Hahaha.

We were at The Cathay to see if The History Boys was showing, which it was... at 7:something pm! As we turned to walk back towards the MRT station, Stephanie said she wanted to eat ice cream, so instead we headed to the interior of The Cathay for some Ben & Jerry ice cream! Hooray!

As usual Stephanie had trouble deciding which flavour she wanted to eat. The guy behind the counter gave her a small portion of Phish Food to try and asked what she wanted to try, or what kind of base she liked (chocolate, vanilla, etc), then I piped in and said, "She wants to try all the flavours!". LOL. Then the guy said "Okay, the store's pretty empty now, I don't mind".

He gave her a little bit of the Strawberry Cheesecake to try and talked to her about various flavours, and I got a vibe that he thought she was cute (hey I am good at detecting this stuff, just not when it concerns me). In the meantime my order got screwed up and he scooped two scoops of ice cream for me instead because he was too distracted or something -______-

In the end Stephanie had what I was having, Dublin Mudslide, except I had one scoop too many to deal with. Because I had been unexpectedly saddled with another scoop of ice cream, I wanted to sit down and eat it instead of walking and eating it, so we sat down outside the store. Then the guy behind the counter went to the band area and started to play his guitar and sing! He was really good O.O and sounded exactly like Jack Johnson. Stephanie said that she thought it was the original song playing till I told her the guy was playing and singing it. *edit*, according to Stephanie it was Jack Johnson's Better Together, followed by
Jason Mraz's Wordplay then John Meyer's Daughters the last one being Jack Johnson's Banana Pancakes. Hahaha!

While he was playing, I asked Stephanie if he was within her line of sight, and she said yes, so I laughed and she gave me this odd look. Then about a few minutes later she went "I looked at him and he was looking at me!" I told her he was serenading her :p

When we left, I looked at him and he was playing/singing with his eyes closed. I told Stephanie that he would suddenly open his eyes, realise we were gone and then the music would abruptly stop. True enough as we were halfway down the escalators, the music suddenly stopped, probably when Ice Cream Dude opened his eyes. HAHAHA!

So amusing! As an afterthought, maybe he purposely messed up my order so we would stick around or something and he could observe her more, ala 'her step, laugh, voice's ring'.

Afterwards we ended up at Cathay Cineleisure to watch The History Boys, which I found quite good, though the theme of homosexuality kind of escaped me as to it's purpose in the overall story. I wanted to watch Paris J'taime, but it was showing only at 7:something pm at Cineleisure :/

Anyway this is now my favourite quote! It's so true, hahaha.

Mrs. Lintott: And you, Rudge? How do you define history?
Rudge: Can I speak freely without being hit?
Mrs. Lintott: You have my protection.
Rudge: How do I define history?
Well it's just one fucking thing after another, isn't it?

I learnt how to cycle today! WOOOO. Yes I never knew how to cycle before.

Anyway today in the afternoon I went down to Sentosa with my family and my dad rented a bike for me and taught me to cycle!

Initially I kept swerving to the left and toppling over, but later on I:-
1) Kept cycling into the vegetation, on both sides of the path;
2) Cycled into the vegetation, right in the middle of the bushes and fell over;
3) Crashed into the lamp post twice and flew off the bike;
4) Rammed right into a cement planter because I was trying to avoid the lamp post. This then resulting in me flopping onto the planter and then tumbling into the small gap between the planter box and the lamp post;
5) Almost ran over a small kid. DAMNIT, watch your kids you stupid people. I stopped like 20cm away from the young boy, about 2 years old.

I was quite a sight. Everytime I fell I screamed before I and laughed my head off after landing on the ground. Meanwhile lots of people on the trams passing by were watching me bemusedly and some looked like they wanted to jump out and help me especially after the disastrous attempt to avoid the lamp post. I swear some people laughed when I ran right into the lamp posts.

John Le Carre's The Naive and Sentimental Lover is the biggest steaming pile of horse shit I've read in a long time. In fact this may be the first book that I actually threw into the trash.

Saturday, March 10, 2007

Today I went down to Alexandra Distripark to buy my school books after Cielo sent me the booklist. The total price amounted to more than $400 and they weigh a ton. The Biology book is seriously so thick it looks like it could kill someone. The guy there also told me he'd have to order my history and 'stupid' maths books for me.

I really need to start studying! Alot to catch up. Blah.

Friday, March 09, 2007

For the sadistic ones who enjoy seeing stupid people/despo guys being made fun off, the Anna blog will be updated soon!

I just logged in and saw 2 new ones. Hurrrr.
Shit I am behind in work and I have no idea what books to buy, where, work I need to catch up on and so on. I am getting really miffed.

My only consolation is that I've got a topic for my EE already.

I got posted to 5.9, Chronicles.

It doesn't seem like a bad class, and the people there are quite friendly. Thank goodness!

First day at school :/

In the morning I walked to a bus stop about two stops from my house because I just felt like walking, then there I waited for the bus to come. I alighted at the MGS stop, then suddenly recalled that there was no traffic light at the foot of the hill, and damnit, I was NOT going to walk all the way up just to be a 'good girl', so I figured, screw it, and instead crossed amidst the heavy traffic at the foot of the hill, waiting along the road divider! Hohoho. I bet I gave some parents a heart attack. I can imagine them telling their little girls "eh look at that cheh cheh, cannot follow her okay?"

So anyway I got a ride there with Petrina, Krystle and Petrina's parents. The moment I set foot out of the car, a really bad feeling crept over me -____- I seriously felt so lost, and everywhere I saw only boys. Tians.

Then I followed Petrina to her class and waited outside, leaning against the wall and squishing some Chinese New Year decorations and literally just followed her all over the place, and she tried to introduce me to her friends but all I could do was say hi and nothing else.

At the assembly area we met Ashikin and stopped to talk to her and then Stephanie came by. For assembly I had to stand with all the new JAE students, and I felt really odd. The other two MGS girls who had entered by JAE were standing some distance anyway and I didn't see them, Judith and Mary, two girls I had known existed in school but never really talked to them before :/ I ended up sticking with them for the rest of the day, and probably for tomorrow too.

The first part of the day was really, really dumb. I had a constant feeling of incredulity at literally everything, from the repeated speeches about how we were the top 10%, lots of people were on the waiting list, buy our BOMBER JACKET to the '!?!?!' breakdown of everything on the orientation package price (to which my response was that it seemed like some post-NKF backlash). Another thing was that there was this form for people to fill up what they had gotten for their O level L1R5, and I peeped around and lots of people had LOW single digits, not even a 9 in sight! And for those who talked about appeals, they were appealing to places like RJC and HCI! Oh my goodness. The words, "what in living hell am I doing here???" kept repeating in my head, like some broken record.

For the break I just followed Judith and Mary to the wanton stall, which wasn't too bad I guess, and was joined by Tricia, a girl from CHIJ TP and her friend. After the break I saw with Tricia to my left and Judith to my right for the TOK and EE 'bridging' talks. Next to Tricia sat this guy, who we later found out was from ACSI as well (I will mention him later). During the EE talk, everything was okay. It was quite boring and the woman kept threatening us with some anti-plagiarism software.

Then came the worst thing of all: TOK. ARGHHHH. I wanted to die. In fact the ACSI guy did, he died multiple times during the talk, literally laying his head on the small lecture table. The speaker had a really lulling monotonous voice too (but cannot beat MGS's dear RONG) and the lights in the lecture theatre were switched off too, to compound the great sense of sleepiness.

First he started to extol the grand great virtues of GEOGRAPHY, because that was the subject he taught. Then in the TOK powerpoint presentation, lots of Geography text-book like pictures graced the slides, like some subtle soft selling of his esteemed subject. I wanted to laugh at one of the pictures because it showed a bunch of African 'natives' dressed up in full garb, and one of the men to the right was wearing a red tie of all things! I don't think anyone noticed the absurdity of that picture, and from there my mind wandered to Waiting for Godot, which I never 'got' before, but suddenly understood the humour behind.

Anyway the speaker kept looking at me! Maybe because he though I was paying attention or something, which I was trying really hard to, but I was seriously waiting for him to start going all Matrix psycho and pulling our a red pill and a blue you and ask me which one I wanted. Everything was so conspiracy-like and he spoke with such conviction, I wanted to burst of laughing from the pure absurdity of it all.

Then the speaker suddenly came to be and asked 'What is knowledge?' and my mind went blank. Zippit. I turned to Judith and Tricia and my entire body language was like 'Oh my God, oh my God! What do I say?!!!!' and in the end said 'uh, can you ask someone else?', then he turned to Tricia and she gave a good reply.

Later he came by and stood right in front of me and asked "Who's the greatest writer of all time" and as my mind flitted from Hitler (world's scariest premonitory literature) to Dostoevsky (though I never actually finished a book) to Tolstoy (ditto) and J.K. Rowling... (because she actually got people to READ!), someone shouted "Shakespeare!'" from behind me. Suddenly the speaker turned to me and asked me, "Why do you say Shakespeare is the greatest writer?" and all I could say was "Um, I didn't say that" with a really incredulous look on my face. What. The. Hell???

Anyway afterwards was the career fair, and the study in Britain talk which Stephanie had signed up for, so I followed her. The talk was held by the most charming woman in the world, as charming as having your head repeatedly smashed against a concrete wall. She spoke in a tone like she was constantly admonishing us -______-

Later I met the guy who Stephanie almost K.O.'ed with a cricket bat, and I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHY! Hahaha!

EEEE. More talks tomorrow :/

Tuesday, March 06, 2007

I got into ACSI for the IB programme!

I went to work today in the morning after I found out that I didn't need to appeal or anything and around 11am, the call came from Mr Namazie who said he didn't need me to be present at the talk because they have someone at the International Waqf (or Wakaf) Conference who would operate the powerpoint.

However today was still an exciting day! Around 11:50am in the morning, just as I was skipping back to my desk from the EFS area, I noticed the ceiling boards were creaking up and down, making a lot of noise. Initially I thought it was a strong gust of wind, and as I leaned against my desk, I felt the ground swaying back and forth. Then Alia came out from her room and went "Did you feel that?" as the ground continued to sway some more. Outside in the main room, everyone had stopped their work and people had come out of their rooms to investigate, almost 75% of people saying they has earlier thought that they were going to faint. LOL.

About 10 mins later after we had all returned to our desks, Hussein came in from the reception and said that we were all to be evacuated from the building O.O he also said we weren't allowed to use the lifts but after he left a few of us from the office used the lifts anyway.

Downstairs was quite messy as neighbouring buildings were evacuated as well with people milling about and my uncle told everyone to go for lunch instead of standing around aimlessly. He brought the other intern and I to Smiling Orchard to eat. The most funny part about eating that was that there was this woman there who kept shouting out "This building is safe! Our piling goes down 100m!" repeatedly.

I was rather lightheaded and giddy after being in the swaying building so instead of fully utilising the extended lunch hour, the 3 of us returned to the office.

Around 1:50pm, I was at Yati's desk playing pinball when the next tremors came. This time round the ground swayed even more, but the ceiling boards made less noise. It was so bad this time that an already queasy Alia stumbled out of her office and literally squatted on the floor and the other intern, also got of of her seat and sat on the floor. I somehow managed to ignore the tremors and got a high score for my pinball game amidst the swaying, thought I died really fast after the tremors started. The tremors this time lasted for a longer period of time.

This time Mr Tan got out of his office and told everyone to evacuate immediately and again we all cheated and took the lift down, taking down a stack of documents we were supposed to serve on another law firm nearby. Instead of waiting around, Mr Tan drove a few of us to the office of Lim & Lim at China Square, which is nearby Robinson Road where our law firm was located. There, the staff all said they didn't feel anything and there was no evacuation or anything.

When we got back around 3:15pm, people were still milling about the entrance and the security guards told me there were engineers inspecting the building and no one was allowed in O.O it was only around 3:50pm that everyone was allowed into the building and I saw a team of engineers from the SCDF outside the building.

Back in the office I checked the news and it said another earthquake had stuck Sumatra, this time measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale. The earlier one, which I had checked on during lunch was 6.6 on the Richter scale.

Okay I totally apologise because this thing is so badly written, but I still feel woozy from all the swaying and my mind isn't quite there, like I have an air pocket in my forebrain or something.

I feel sad to leave the office :/ I was there for 11 weeks! That's even longer than the pae people have been attending school. Everyone in the staff says they'll miss me too, and miss all the noise I make! Hahaha. But I'll be back! Wooooo.

Anyway tomorrow is the first day of school! Ack. I feel really scared. Going to Petrina's house tomorrow morning to hitch a ride with her, so I won't feel so leceh tomorrow.

I feel like I am floating now and when I close my eyes I feel the ground sway. It can't imagine actually experiencing a full blown earthquake.

Monday, March 05, 2007

Today was supposed to be my last day of work, but I have to go to work again tomorrow afternoon to help Mr Namazie with some talk he's giving at the Fullerton tomorrow on a special clause of Muslim inheritance law (I forgot the exact term, it has an 'aq' in it). As a results of that talk I was running around like a mad woman trying to finish everything. I feel damn paranoid about tomorrow, because a lot of big shots from surrounding Muslim countries are coming to listen to the talk (it's part of a conference) and I'm afraid something will go wrong, hence I feel like bringing my laptop along :/

As for tomorrow's results... I really have no idea what to expect. Blah. I've already gotten the grades I wish for, now I may even have to appeal to get into ACJC because of the revising of the entry points. This is such rubbish man -______-

Sunday, March 04, 2007

ZOMGGGGG I DIDN'T KNOW SCHOOL STARTS ON WEDNESDAY! I assumed it started after the March holidays, no one told me!

Also no one told me that ACJC reduced it points to 7 till I called Ianthe just now to double check.

OMGGGG HAHAHAHAHA THIS IS SO LIKE SOME BLACK COMEDY. I think I will end up in SAJC instead, which isn't a bad school, but the distance is killer.

Saturday, March 03, 2007

Suat sent me this video just now, it's slightly political (US), but it's also classified under comedy in a way. It's about how ignorant Americans are, LOL. Of course take it with a pinch of salt since it's probably heavily edited to prove the channel's point.
When I came back home from Orchard today with my mother, the first thing I saw was that the TV had been tuned to Vasantham (sp?) Central, courtesy of my brother, and an Indian movie was playing. What was unique about it this time was the pure oddity of the scene, I now enclose herewith an image to let you get a better idea:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

So anyway yes, it was a stereotypical slapstick scene.

Anyway the guy above (Guy 1) said to his friend (Guy 2): What? Are you mad? Why were you here if not to commit suicide?
Guy 2: Just because a dog chases a car doesn't mean he wants to own or drive the car! I came here to make my wife concerned!

I found the whole 'dog chases car' analogy really tickling and hence it has ended up as a post.

Thursday, March 01, 2007

Just now Ian pointed out the inherent irony in the last few postings of mine. I quote him exactly "NIL NAI - last exile says:
goody two shoes who is treated by the sister harry never had (referring to the quiz)... isnt really good if she goes around looking at unsightly pictures of harry (referring to the nude pic)"

HAHAHAHAHA! I totally missed that.

Anyway I have been informed by him and Suat that the picture of him nude is a fake *shrugs*.

Attn: To Whom It May Concern

WTIHDRAWAL FROM YISHUN JUNIOR COLLEGE

I am Melodie W*** *** *** and I have just graduated from Methodists Girls’ School having sat for my Cambridge Ordinary Levels Examination last year. During the Ministry of Education’s Provisionary Admissions Exercise, I was admitted to your institution.

I live in Bukit Timah and it is highly inconvenient for me to travel to Yishun Junior College. As I also had an internship offer, I decided to take it up instead of attending your school.

On the 29th of December 2006, Friday, I took a half day’s leave to go down to Yishun Junior College to withdraw from the school in the morning. I went to the General Office and was met by the receptionist, a middle aged Indian lady.

I told her that I was there to withdraw from Yishun Junior College and she handed me a form printed on an A4 white sheet of paper. She said it was for the school’s documentation. The form required me to fill out my name, address, and other types of information, including the reason why I wished to withdraw from Yishun Junior College, which I have stated above.

After filling out the form, I handed it to the receptionist who then said I had now withdrawn from the school and then wished me good luck for my Cambridge Ordinary Levels results.

Nothing about having to see the principal, or any other form was given to me except the aforementioned form.

Around 10th January 2007, I received a call from Yishun Junior College around 7:50pm. The woman on the line asked me why I had not attended school, to which my reply was that I had already withdrawn. Her response was to instead request me to go down to the school to talk to your good principal on the morning of 12th January 2007. I then replied that I had to work that day, and was not able to attend the meeting. She then ignored what I said and again requested my attendance. Repeatedly my protests fell on her deaf ears till she suddenly said “come down on Friday right? Okay!” and then proceeded to hang up on me.

I was incensed and went to call back the school but no one picked up the telephone. It was around 8:00pm.

The next day at around 10:00am I again called the school. No one picked up. I called again around 12:00pm and another woman picked up the phone. I told her that I was not available to meet the principal on the 12th January 2007 as requested, and she seemed confused. She then put me on hold to talk to her colleague before transferring my call to the teacher in charge. The phone kept ringing and no one picked up. Then the woman who had earlier answered the phone picked up and said the teacher was not at her desk, and she would help me inform her of my message.

Just as I thought the entire matter was closed, in early February I received a bill from Yishun Junior College regarding my school fees. They wanted to charge me around $50 for attending the school. As I was busy around that period, I was unable to reply.

However today my mother called up the school and I was suddenly informed that the proper procedure was to see the principal who was the only person who could accept my withdrawal form, yet when I had gone down to the school last year, I was not told by the receptionist of any such thing. The receptionist too denies accepting any form from me.

I find the entire experience to be rather unpleasant. It reflects poorly on your administration system and procedures in the school. I am sorely disappointed that a simple procedure such as a withdrawal would result in so much unnecessary aggravation and frustration. I do not agree to the charge of $50 and if your administration still does not register my having withdrawn from your school, please do the necessary now to ensure the same.

Yours faithfully,
