Pike, three inches long, perfect

It amazing at how beautifully and well written Pike by Ted Hughes is. Simply reading the poem and reading essays on the poem fills me with a sense of creepiness, of a sinister being lurking in the shadows, quietly watching. The only other poem to make me feel so strongly was Wilfred Owen's Anthem for Doomed Youth.

I can't believe I didn't want to take Lit in Sec 3 and 4 when I was choosing subjects in Sec 2.
